The ISEV workshop on EV-based biomarkers and their Commercialisation and Clinical Implementation was definitely a success and a great networking opportunity!
The event was held on 12th-14th October in Aalborg, Denmark and gathered all sort of EV biomarker enthusiasts from all parts of the world and all sector of the EVs development chain: from Phd Students and top fundamental and clinical researchers, to small and big companies providing instruments or novel diagnostic tests and, of course, clinicians and clinical chemistry experts. NEXUS team was also there featuring Dario Brambilla and Natasa Zarovni, both presenting the project. Dario gave a flavor of the novel separation and digital detection technologies piloted by NEXUS while Natasa discussed the challenges and requirements for detection of rare blood EV-borne markers.
We exchanged experience and contacts with many great people, paving the way to great collaborations we all look forward to.
